May 07, 2021 Eighty-five percent of Illinoisans 65 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and the statewide COVID-19 case positivity rate is trending down. But health officials also reported 40 more deaths, the highest single-day total since the same number of deaths were reported April 15.
