Alexian, Adventist looking into partnership | |

June 17, 2014 Alexian Brothers Health System and Adventist Midwest Health have signed a letter of intent to pursue combining the five Alexian Brothers hospitals and four Adventist Midwest hospitals under one health care system. The two organizations announced the signing of a nonbinding letter of intent to form a joint operating company and pursue affiliating. Alexian and Adventist would keep their respective religious identities and missions and integrate their operations while maintaining separate ownership of their assets.
