May 21, 2020 Restaurants and bars, dealt a huge economic hit by COVID-19, can offer outdoor dining as soon as May 29 and the state is on track for loosening restrictions on golfing, camping, boating, salons and retail stores on the same date, Gov. J.B. Pritzker said Wednesday, even as COVID-19 cases in the state passed 100,000.
