Batavia OKs new Walgreens for downtown | |

February 18, 2014 Three years after it was proposed, a deal to build a new Walgreens store in downtown Batavia was approved Monday night. And the city council agreed to pony up $1.143 million worth of incentives to help pay for it. “This has been a three-year, up-and-down, through-the-loops and over-the-falls” issue, Mayor Jeff Schielke said.
