Bears' Knox gets top care, teen athlets not as lucky | |

December 19, 2011 When a vicious hit bent Bears receiver Johnny Knox into a position seldom seen outside of fatal car crashes, football fans winced and imagined the worst for the rest of the young man's life. Great care and Monday's surgery are expected to make Knox whole again, but Don Grossnickle of Arlington Heights knows that many high school athletes aren't as fortunate.
