Bears' playoff hopes fade with loss to Lions | |

November 28, 2014 Consider the Bears' playoff hopes about as vibrant as the local economy. An allegedly resurgent Bears defense that had held consecutive opponents to 13 points did not show up in a 34-17 loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving. And the offense made only a cameo appearance. After the Bears pulled within 24-17 midway through the third quarter, the Lions methodically drove 95 yards to a touchdown and a 31-17 lead on the first play of the fourth quarter.
