September 30, 2012 The third and final day of the 39th Ryder Cup got off to a bizarre start at Medinah this morning when Europe's top player, Rory McIlroy, nearly missed his tee time. Early reports indicated McIlroy, who arrived at the course with only about 10 minutes to spare thanks to a police escort, was confused over the time zone, believing he was to tee off at 12:25 p.m., instead of 11:25 a.m. Source: http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20120930/news/709309896/ |
