Biltmore Who's Who Selects Clinton D. Cuthriell as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

November 02, 2010

The selection recognizes Clinton D. Cuthriell's commitment to excellence in the Financial industry.

Clinton D. Cuthriell, Vice-President and Financial Consultant for RBC Wealth Management, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.

Cuthriell, who holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from Old Dominion University, and is a graduate from General Electric's (GE) Financial Management Program, has been working in the financial world since 1977 when he became a financial management trainee for GE in Lynchburg, Virginia.

After becoming a GE corporate auditor two years after joining the company and traveling both domestically and internationally, Cuthriell then became a finance manager of plant operations for the company's Aircraft Engine Business Group plant in Wilmington before landing several positions in financial management and corporate analysis.

With over twenty years experience in wealth management, Cuthriell now works with high net worth individuals and business owners in developing and implementing comprehensive investment strategies in order to help preserve assets, create wealth and protect estates. Working often with attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals to facilitate the wealth management process, he also maintains a commitment to making his clients' financial goals his highest priority. "My heavy academic background in accounting, coupled with my corporate experience in financial planning and auditing," he explained, "helps contribute to very good analytic skills and attention to detail that clients appreciate."

As he progresses in his career, Cuthriell believes he may team with an experienced, younger broker in order to expand his clientele and facilitate working with younger, affluent professionals. "Sometimes, strong synergies can be created with the right combination of skill sets," he said.

Cuthriell is licensed in insurance, and also holds his series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations. He is a former US Army helicopter pilot, who after graduating flight school in 1971, served in Vietnam as one of the youngest Aircraft Commanders to pilot combat missions where he earned numerous awards, including an Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service. He is a member of the North Carolina Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association and is an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. In his free time, Clinton enjoys playing golf, weight training, and riding his motorcycle.
