Bond set at $2 million in Naperville murder | |

January 25, 2014 A DuPage County judge set bond at $2 million Saturday for Grant Muren, 21, who is facing first degree murder charges in the death of Charles Clarke of Naperville. Muren found Clarke, 54, through a Craigslist roommate listing. Within eight hours of moving into Clarke's townhouse on Vail Court in the city's Estes Park neighborhood, the two had "intimate relations," then a fight that led to Clarke's murder, assistant state's attorney Tim Diamond said. Diamond said there were signs of "extreme struggle" and severe trauma to Clarke's neck. "The primary cause of death was strangulation," he added.
