Case of missing St. Charles man haunts family, friends | |

March 27, 2014 In the days before his disappearance, Tom Karambelas lost his girlfriend, his money and his way. But it wasn't like he hadn't skipped town before. When he walked out the door of the St. Charles house he'd shared with Susan Bacsa for 17 years on Dec. 22, 2011, she thought it was just another of Karambelas' dramatic stunts. So did police.
