City-suburbs transit turf spat resolved — for now | |

October 10, 2012 The fight's over for now. Finally Pace, the Chicago Transit Authority and Metra have resolved a dispute over funding that could have caused a transit "Armageddon." Regional Transportation Authority leaders approved a compromise funding plan that allows the three agencies to finalize their budgets in order for the RTA to approve them in time for a Dec. 31 deadline.
