Clerks begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples | |

June 02, 2014 For years, Roseann Szalkowski and Barb McMillan would go to the DuPage County clerk's office, apply for a marriage license and be rejected. On Monday, the Roselle couple finally got their long-sought license. Szalkowski and McMillan were among the first couples to make the trip to the clerk's office in Wheaton the day after a law ratifying same-sex marriages went into effect.
