Close to 70,000 still without power after storms | |

July 25, 2012 A line of strong thunderstorms swept through the Chicago area early Tuesday, knocking out power to more than 300,000 ComEd customers. As of 7 p.m. Tuesday, 69,500 customers remained without power, while more than 400 ComEd crews were in the field, according to a company spokeswoman.
