May 09, 2012

The Commonwealth Bank today announced that it had cut interest rates on some of its Fixed Rate Home Loans by up to 0.34 per cent per annum.

This rate change means Commonwealth Bank Fixed Rate Home Loans are at their lowest levels for more than three years, and are now the lowest amongst the major banks for the popular one and three year terms.

The new interest rates on one and three year Fixed Rate Home Loans will be available for new borrowings over $150,000 from Today, Tuesday 8 May 2012.

Michael Cant, Executive General Manager Retail Products & Customers said, “We believe that for customers looking for certainty when it comes to their home loan repayments, our one and three year Fixed Rate Home Loans will be attractive options for them.”
