Crash sparks Hainesville townhouse fire | |

October 25, 2013 A townhouse building in Hainesville burned for about three hours Friday morning, bursting into flames when a car crashed into the building and struck its gas line, authorities said. The crash occurred about 4 a.m. at a five-unit townhouse building on the 400 block of Patriot Drive. "We had an officer right in the area, probably within 45 seconds he arrived on the scene," Grayslake police Chief Phil Perlini said.
