July 15, 2012 Every time Ryan Dempster takes the mound for the Cubs, it might be his last time. Dempster turned in another gem Saturday, pitching 6 scoreless innings during a 4-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Despite being mentioned in several trade rumors, Dempster said his focus remains on the Cubs, for whom he has been the face of the franchise for most of the past decade.
