Des Plaines woman charged with murder of grandmother | |

October 05, 2013 A 33-year-old Des Plaines woman has been charged with first-degree murder after police said she shoved her grandmother during an argument, causing her to strike her head on a chair. Lynn Bingaman had her original charges of aggravated domestic battery upgraded Friday after the Cook County medical examiner determined that her grandmother died of head trauma from an assault and ruled the death a homicide.
