DeWyze sees silver lining: 'Idol' winner's new album more folk-rock | |

November 02, 2012 With his new album, "American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze is moving past the frantic, highly-produced phase and back into his folk-rock roots. He's resolute about the down times, which included a single that failed to chart and being dropped by his post-Idol label. "I look at it as a step in my career, and if it hadn't been for that, I probably wouldn't have made the album I made now," he says.
