Donors give $12K to family devastated by drunk driver | |

August 13, 2012 More than $12,000 has been donated to the Francisco Valdez and his family since May, but it was not enough to save their Hampshire home from foreclosure and a sale last month. Valdez was severely injured and his four kids hurt when he was hit head-on by an uninsured drunk driver on Christmas Eve 2008 while en route to visit his wife in the hospital.
