Elgin fire department responds to hazmat situation | |

August 31, 2013 Elgin emergency responders evacuated a business after a hazmat incident Saturday morning. Capsonic, at 460 2nd St., manufactures parts primarily for automotive use. Police and fire officials were called at about 10:30 a.m. to the Elgin location because of an unknown substance.
