Elgin mourns loss of Wonder Hostess Bakery Thrift Shop | |

November 17, 2012 Elgin's Wonder Hostess Bakery Thrift Shop was a popular place Friday after news of the longtime bakery company going out of business made its way around the Elgin area. A strike by the union representing the bakers at Hostess could not be resolved, forcing the snack maker to announce it would go out of business.
