Embattled Schaumburg police chief says it's "right time" to retire | |

March 19, 2013 Schaumburg Police Chief Brian Howerton announced his retirement Tuesday morning, exactly one month after a consulting firm began a review of his department in the wake of three undercover officers' arrests on multiple drug conspiracy charges.
