January 23, 2012 Sue Klinkhamer has a chance at becoming the first Democrat to sit in the Kane County Board chairman's seat in more than a century. And while that might motivate some people to spend all day knocking on doors, making calls to collect campaign contributions and plunging signs into their neighbors' front yards, Klinkhamer won't be doing any of that.
