Family, friends recall Carpentersville man as ‘a vibrant person' | |

August 25, 2014 Joshua Paul was a "vibrant" person with a magnetic personality, friends said Sunday. "Everybody loved him," Stephanie Jaramillo said. Paul died Aug. 18 in Sherman Hospital in Elgin, where he'd been taken after being involved in a traffic stop by Carpentersville police. At the request of Carpentersville police officials, the Illinois State Police Public Integrity Unit is investigating Paul's death.
