Feds probe Metra after safety complaints | |

June 07, 2014 The Federal Railroad Administration is cracking down on Metra after three risky situations -- two during rush hour -- involving speeding and violating signals that led to three engineers being taken off-duty. "By acting now, we can help prevent a serious accident where commuters could be hurt," U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx said in a statement Friday.
