Fired LHS band director had relationship with student, officials say | |

January 15, 2013 Libertyville High School band director Jeffrey Daeschler has been fired for having an "inappropriate physical relationship" with a female student, District 128 officials announced Tuesday. The relationship occurred "several years ago," according to a letter from district officials to band students and their parents. The young woman no longer attends the school.
