First of 3 ex-Schaumburg cops pleads guilty to drug skimming, sales | |

March 21, 2014 A former Schaumburg police officer accused of skimming drugs from police seizures and using an informant to sell them on the street pleaded guilty Friday. Terrance O’Brien, 47, was sentenced to 38 years in prison but will serve about 12. He accepted a deal to plead guilty to four of 17 counts pending against him. “He had been serving in the NARC unit for a long time and just got caught up in the culture.” said his attorney Robert Irsuto.
