Freezing rain warning; storm out east snarls flights | |

January 27, 2015 If you're hoping to fly to the East Coast in the next day or two, good luck. Hundreds of flights out of O'Hare and Midway airports were canceled in anticipation of a powerful blizzard heading toward the East Coast. A freezing rain advisory also has been issued, and inbound I-290 lanes were closed for a couple of hours between Wolf and Mannheim roads because of ice.
