Fundraiser to help Elgin woman sickened by West Nile virus | |

November 02, 2013 Annette Frerichs always worried that her daughter would be exposed to mosquito-borne West Nile virus, and that's what happened in 2012. Alex already had a heart transplant in infancy, and a kidney transplant in middle school.
