Geneva rejects demolition of Pure Oil building | |

March 27, 2012 The Geneva City Council decided the former Pure Oil service station should not be knocked down, to the chagrin of the owner but pleasing most observers. The council considered only one federal standard -- that a historic property shall be used for its historic purpose or be placed into a new use that requires minimal change to the building.
