February 02, 2013 Girl power flexed some muscle at the annual Vex robotics competition in Batavia Saturday, with a good number of all-female teams competing this year. "We're seeing more and more girls realizing they can compete in the man's world," said Ron Karabowicz, organizer of the Great Lakes-Midwest-Illinois VEX Robotics Regional Championship at Rotolo Middle School.
