February 09, 2012 US futures point to Wall Street opening down slightly as European shares briefly turned negative today as disappointing results from Dutch bank and insurance group ING and Credit Suisse weighed on the market. Asian shares ended mixed as markets were left without clear direction after Greek political leaders failed again to conclude a deal for a bailout package, which Athens needs to avoid a messy debt default.
