Grayslake Central's food drive collects 50,000 pounds | |

December 07, 2013 More than 50,000 pounds of food was collected for Grayslake Central High School's 21st Annual Food Drive. On Friday, students from the student council and the public service practicum teamed up to organize and box the items, forming human food chains in the process. "Our students take a tremendous amount of pride in knowing that they are part of the biggest student-organized food drive in Lake County," teacher Dustin Chierico said.
