Grayslake hopes fee revision will make old fairgrounds site appealing | |

February 08, 2014 Grayslake officials hope a lower road impact fee will make the former Lake County fairgrounds at routes 120 and 45 more marketable. The village in 2007 approved an 807,000-square-foot retail center for the prime site that hasn't materialized. "This is the first step in making it more marketable," Mayor Rhett Taylor said of the pending change in the pact with Lake County.
