Gurnee, Oak Brook kids place 2nd, 3rd at state Geographic Bee | |

April 05, 2014 Joshua Smoron, a seventh-grader from Gurnee, took second place at the Illinois Geographic Bee Friday. Of the 100 fifth- through eighth-graders who competed in the bee, more than 30 students were from the suburbs.
