How suburban politicians fight heroin with forums, funding | |

December 29, 2014 Politicians say there's plenty to do in the fight against heroin. "These are normal, typical suburban kids from good, typical suburban families and this is happening to them," 27th District state Sen. Matt Murphy of Palatine said. "It's such a devastating outcome in so many cases. I felt like I had at least a little bit of a megaphone to highlight this and wanted to use it."
