June 11, 2013 Weeks after parts of Lincolnshire flooded following heavy rains, village officials want local residents to help them develop a prevention and response plan for the future. Organizers especially want to hear from people who experienced flooding at their homes, whether it was due to water accumulating in their backyards or the Des Plaines River or a local creek overflowing its banks.
