March 04, 2012 Montini is making this whole state championship thing look way too easy. The Broncos bolted out to a 21-point halftime lead on upstart Vernon Hills on Saturday at Redbird Arena en route to a 56-38 win, capturing their third straight Class 3A state championship. Montini (33-5) joins Teutopolis and Bolingbrook as the only girls basketball teams to win three straight titles. The three-peat matches...
