Jacobs grad Jager makes Olympics in steeplechase | |

June 29, 2012 Evan Jager, a 2007 Jacobs grad, qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London by winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase finals Thursday in the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials. He won the event in eight minutes and 17.40 seconds to finish ahead of Princeton graduate and NCAA champion Donn Cabral (8:19.81). Jager's time was the best by an American in 2012.
