September 03, 2016 Kaiser Hoffman, a Shenzhen based wealth management firm providing bespoke counsel and associated services to high net worth clients in the Asia Pacific region, are pleased to announce their inclusion on the Financial Times' Top 500 Registered Investment Advisers of 2016. The 2016 list is the FT 500's tenth and is independently compiled by the Financial Times in collaboration with SP Research, a subsidiary of the Financial Times that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry. The "typical" FT 500 RIA firm has been trading for, on average, 22 years and oversees $2.6 billion in assets. Over 1,500 pre-screened RIA firms were invited to apply for consideration, based on their assets under management (AUM). Applicants were then assessed on six principles: AUM, asset growth, the company's age, industry certifications of key employees, ABN compliance record and online accessibility. FT limits the number of companies from any one jurisdiction based on the distribution of dollar millionaires in each respective country. The FT 500 is but one of a number of adviser rankings the FT compiles in partnership with SP Research, including the FT 401 (DC retirement plan advisers) and the FT 400 (financial advisers from traditional broker-dealer firms).
