Libertyville taxpayers may be asked if they will pay to save Brainerd building | |

December 10, 2012 Supporters of a longstanding dream to convert the shuttered former Libertyville High School building into a community center will be asking if voters would be willing to pay more in property taxes to make that happen. The Brainerd Community Center Inc., has collected more than more than 1,000 signatures in support of an advisory referendum for the April ballot.
