Man killed by police tried to run them down, they say | |

May 17, 2012 Des Plaines police say a 44-year-old man shot dead over the weekend during a traffic stop tried to run the officers down with his vehicle before the shooting. Carlos Salgado, although dead, would have been charged with attempted murder and delivery of a controlled substance among other charges, according to police.
