Manhunt on for escapee from Elgin Mental Health Center | |

July 16, 2014 Elgin police said a man escaped the custody of Elgin Mental Health Center workers Wednesday morning in the area of Dundee Avenue and Seneca Street. Police said that if someone sees Jesse Vega to call 911 and not to approach him. Police said he escaped about 8 a.m. from the front seat of a car transporting him to court in Lake County.
