Metra commuters could see more delays this afternoon | |

January 06, 2014 The extreme cold is fouling up Metra service and there are concerns about what that could mean for the evening rush. Meanwhile, spinouts are causing treacherous commutes, particularly on Route 53. "Despite our best efforts with switch heaters and extra people, with such extreme weather, we are having issues," Metra spokesman Tom Miller said.
