Moving Picture: St. Charles theater has living treasure | |

July 05, 2013 Jim Shaffer of Aurora is a hidden treasure at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles. A 30-year veteran volunteer there, he's the organist/head usher/organ repairman at the landmark venue. He prefers the oldies from the 1940 to 1960s, and as far as performing in front of an audience, Shaffer says, "Yeah, you get a little nervous.
