Muddy Paws owner guilty in Deer Park dog abuse case | |

September 09, 2011 A Lake County jury deliberated about four hours before convicting Diane Eldrup of all charges in her animal cruelty trial. Eldrup faces up to five years in prison but will also be eligible for probation. Kildeer police were called Dec. 16 to the former Muddy Paws Dog Rescue on Rand Road in Deer Park and discovered 30 dogs, three birds and an opossum in what officials called "a death camp...
