Naperville panelist: Race relations really about ‘heart, life' | |

January 23, 2015 Panelists at a North Central College discussion on race relations Wednesday highlighted the importance of having meaningful -- possibly even uncomfortable -- conversations about race and justice and the challenge of transferring these discussions into action beyond online trending topics. "On social media, you're constantly bombarded with people's opinions and emotions and you have to be able to filter that," panelist April Yvonne Garrett said.
