Bengaluru - The Indo Nippon Business Council & Academia Collaboration (INBCC), has been set up by the Namaste Konnichiwa Foundation to facilitate investments from Japanese investors in Indian start-ups to promote business, trade, academic and cultural exchange between India and Japan.

One of the initiatives of INBCC is to create an integrated business environment for its member companies by enabling end-to-end support to expedite business activities between the two countries. These member companies will also pay a minimal fee to support the organisation’s multiple initiatives.

Mr. Ajay Chadha, Executive Director, Nelito Systems Pvt. Ltd. (Group company of DTS Corporation, Japan), participated as a Special Guest at the event. Mr. Chadha addressed the event and mentioned that INBCC members will facilitate the Indo-Japanese community and could very well play a significant role in the academic field as well, through collaboration among the academic institutions on both sides. This will also create a doorway to promote the cultural exchange between two important nations—India and Japan. He added that this will help the small & mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) to locate appropriate investors from Japan. He further mentioned that at the government level, a lot of things have happened but a lot more to be done, but at the ground level, reality is a little different. So, a lot more efforts have to be made, and platforms like INBCC can really play a very important role here.
