New Rivers Casino hits Elgin's Grand Victoria hard | |

September 13, 2011 The Rivers Casino in Des Plaines took in nearly twice as much revenue in August than the Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, the boat that had previously been the most lucrative casino in Illinois for much of its existence. The Rivers Casino pulled in $34.1 million in adjusted gross receipts the money bet on the casino floor. The Grand Victoria brought in about $18.5 million.
