New Song Release by German Pop Singer Ferdinand Rennie | |

April 11, 2011 Ferdinand Rennie the talented German Pop musician from Scotland is set to release his exciting new interpretation of the Frank Sinatra Classic "My Way", a song that will thrill his army of fans across the world. Ferdinand Rennie is preparing to release more new titles in the near future, marking a huge stage in the career of the multi-talented German Pop acoustic singer-songwriter. Ferdinand, who lives in Glasgow, Scotland, is just putting the final touches to new releases, and is now preparing for the imminent release that will hopefully build upon his fan base and get his music heard by more people than ever. The last album, 'Liebe Traegt Dich ueber jeden Ozean', (LOVE WILL CARRY YOU OVER EVERY OZEAN) consisted of sixteen songs from Ferdinand, each providing a combination of his high-energy performance and melodious vocals and heartfelt lyrics. The album showed his ability to sing in English and German, an art not many native German speaking singers master. The two songs which clearly show his ability to sing in both languages are "Liebe traegt Dich Ueber Jeden Ozean" and "Love Changes Everything" The album was recorded by Fabscots Ltd, Scotland and its creation was supported by Singer Songwriter Rosemary Gura who has been supporter and friend of Ferdinand for a long time. The theme of the album underlies the changes that Ferdinand had gone through over recent years, the biggest of which being the 'switch' from Germany to Scotland. It was this that allowed him to thrive off the new opportunities presented to him, to explore fresh sounds and develop his musical style. 'Liebe Traegt Dich ueber jeden Ozean' reveals the stunning array of influences that have found their way into Ferdinand's music. Whilst his grounding came from traditional German Pop music - he began to get himself known whilst playing in venues throughout Germany - he was always keen to bring something unique to a traditional sound. Ferdinand's life has certainly been full of experiences. In his early years he played main roles in musicals like "Les Miserables" LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS" Tabaluga" or "AHOI-THE Seamens-Revue" just to name a few. His first German Pop Album was titled "Wenn Ich Traeume" (When I Dream). All those things make an unforgetable experience that just goes to show how far he has already made a name for himself in the German Pop Scene. As well as that, he has also appeared on German Pop television stations like Alpenstar TV and SMAGO TV, GUTE LAUNE TV in addition many Radio Stations like the Scottish DUNOON Community Radio Station, or German Pop Stations for example: RS-international-fanclubradio, Radio Starpower.Radio Heimatmelodie, Schlagergarage, Newstarradio and many others more have invited Ferdinand to interviews and programs featuring his music. This just shows how his appeal just continues to grow. Ferdinand has said of his work: "I was brought up in a very musical family. In addition the rich musical culture of Austria has exposed me to a wealth of music as a child. Although I learnt a lot about music as I was growing up, it wasn't until I was 15 that I actually had my first public appearance, and that was a real changing point for me. Since then, my style has developed and I've incorporated other sounds and genres which have all made their way into the German Pop Album 'Liebe Traegt Dich ueber jeden Ozean',. The album is a reflection of my influences over the years and the changes that I've experienced recently in my life." Ferdinand refuses to restrict his style to one genre. Instead, he has been influenced by numerous artists and genres of music from outside the German Pop he has been influenced from music across the globe, including Frank Sinatra, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Heintje, OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, CELINE DION amongst many others.
